Hello All!
One of my 2009 New Year’s Resolutions is now done – got my blog up and running! My other is making myself a lap quilt – we’ll see how that one goes!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Christine and I live in New Hampshire with my husband, my two children, my four cats and my dog! I work full time as an Office/Accounting/Human Resources Manager for an advertising firm. All that doesn’t leave much time for other things, but some how I manage.
I learned to cross stitch when I was 8 years old. Our next door neighbor (Mrs. Henderson) taught me and I’ve been grateful to her ever since! I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember and I started hand quilting 13 years ago. As the children came along, the time went away so I moved to machine quilting. Last year I added a new hobby to my list – tatting and I LOVE IT!! Here are some of my first pieces that I did with needle tatting – I now do mostly shuttle tatting.
I hope you will enjoy my blog!
Christine! This is great! Maybe working on your blog could be considered part of your 12-step program.. if you’re working on this, it means your not crafting! Ya, that’s a stretch.. or should I say stitch.
What a great idea to show your stuff like this! Keep up the good work and be sure to remember to sleep once in a while!!
If you made the numbers one and two motifs from your own pattern or off the top of the head can you share the pattern? i love that little square!
Nice lil’ motifs! They’re all pretty. I like the soft springy colors! It’s time for spring to arrive already, isn’t it…LOL!
